Quality 201: Healthcare Data and Insights is an online, self-paced course that can be completed in approximately two hours. This course complements and builds upon Quality 101, which introduced Mayo Clinic's Value Equation, encompassing clinical quality, patient and staff safety, and patient experience. In Quality 201: Healthcare Data and Insights, participants will learn how to select meaningful key performance indicators (KPIs), collect accurate data, and align KPIs with organizational goals. Also, participants explore the art of crafting compelling data stories to convey insights effectively, leveraging storytelling techniques to engage diverse stakeholders and drive meaningful change. Through a blend of theoretical insights and practical examples drawn from Mayo Clinic's institutional journey, participants will gain the expertise needed to drive positive outcomes in healthcare quality and value.
